Our Mission
RISE ABOVE MAGAZINE: Mission is to provide resources and support to our youth's mental health and wellness in the community through education. We want to reduce teen addiction, suicide, and dropout rates and increase the teen graduation rates. Our kids are the future leaders. Through the support of the business community, we provide a FREE magazine to every High school & award a scholarship to a graduating senior.
Our Programs
RISE ABOVE LYFE- NON-PROFIT: We guide kids toward a variety of programs and services to support mental health, drug addiction, homelessness, runaway, educational services. This including counseling, support groups, shelter, GED assistance. We provide Shoes, Coats, Backpacks to any teen who is actively attending school or plans to enroll (GED programs included) & is in need of assistance.
Students from low-income families have a dropout rate of 10%; students from middle income families have a dropout rate of 5.2%. 28% of all those dropouts were are due to inadequate clothing and hygiene. 37% of them dropped out due to bullying of some kind. 11% of them dropout Due to drug addiction. We want to do our part to lower those percentages.
Our Impact
Through the support of the business community, we provide a FREE magazine to every High school. We touch on a variety of topics that today's teens are struggling with and how to combat the peer pressures and influences of society today.
We award a scholarship with each new edition of the magazine to a local graduating senior.
We provide a new pair of shoes to any teen whose family can't afford them. If needed the shoes can also come with a Jacket and backpack. Every kid deserves to feel confident & equal. Our goal is to help kids focus on their education with confidence and positive self-worth.

Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved with Rise above. Become a business supporter and advertise your company in our magazine to show the kids you care and help keep the magazines free and helps build our scholarship fund. Donate unused shoes/ Coats/ Backpacks, any unused clothing for the kids. You can also attend one of our events or become a volunteer. We'd love to have you on board! Contact Us today!
